Provided by YPmobileCalled about a specific vehicle. Was told it was available. Went in a few hours later and was told it sold the day before! The used cars were dirty - when I asked why "we can't do much with trade ins, this is how they come". CLEAN THEM.
Sales person said we needed to drive behind the lot to look at used vehicles. So we put my son in the car without a car seat thinking we were driving across the parking lot NO! We drove through town a few miles to some shady looking parking lot with all their nasty cars.

i bought a truck a couple of months back. after 3 days it started having tranny issues. I called the salesman and was told they would do run free diagnostic. I was never able to get ahold of him again. I called and left multiple messages. I even called a customer relations lady and she assured me the salesman would call me back but still no luck. I tried calling them for 2 months and it was always the same excuses. no one wasc willingvto help me out. I didnt even get the free oil change I was promised.
avoid some headaches and dont buy here. worst service after the sale I have ever recieved.

This review is based on an experience with Southway Ford service department. They have terrible customer service and no “service after the sale” whatsoever.
I was having trouble with the locks on my vehicle’s door and figured I would try this dealership due to the proximity near my place of employment. Worst mistake! Dropped my vehicle off at the dealership on Wednesday and was told it would be 2 days before a technician would look at. I was in need since my vehicle would not lock its doors properly plus I had a third party warranty. So I made arraignments and left my vehicle for “electrical troubleshooting” as stated by inexperienced service advisor (M*****a).
The weekend comes around and I have yet to hear anything so I make a call to the service department and finally get someone after many failed attempts (bad phone etiquette). The service advisor continues to tell me that it will more than likely get looked at on the Monday since they are behind. I was already without a vehicle so figured to give it time to get the work done properly. Monday comes around and I call mid-day to make sure that we are on schedule to have my vehicle returned to me. The service advisor assures me that it’s being looked at but yet still no word on what steps can be taken to get it fixed. I reply okay I will call back to get a status update. Approximately an hour later, the service advisor calls me back to let me know that it looks I am going to be without my vehicle for an extra day due to the technician being off on Mondays. She was caught lying on the phone, I said I was very disappointed and communicated that this is unacceptable. I made my way into the dealership and spoke with the Assistant Manager Richard Trevino. He told me he had no idea what she was talking about and proceeded to inform me that my car would be done that evening.
Upon receiving my receipt which should have been only the $50 deductible there was and added $27.30(never mentioned) charge for shop supplies. I questioned Richard Trevino on what the added charge was and if possible could I get the itemized statement. His reply, “that’s how all Ford dealerships are and there is no way to tell what shop supplies they used.” I then began to let him know that not all Ford dealerships are like that since this was not my first time using a service department for maintenance. He then proceeds to tell me that he could not take it off even though there was an inconvenience for me.
Go somewhere that will not take advantage of you. Ask what the shop supplies fee is and for more information. They are making more money off the sale.

*There is reason the names on the link do not match the people that currently work there. No one stays there, they go to work for other dealerships that have better customer relations and provide a better customer experience.

I am very disappointed with the way my elderly father was treated recently. My father is in a fixed income and is a retired veteran that served our Country. He recently went to enquirer about purchasing a new car . He only gets a Social Security check once a month that barley covers his expenses . I feel really bad for him because I truly feel they took advantage of him and took him for a ride literally. He went in into the Finance office with the understanding that he would have a low payment that would help him have not only a dependable car but is able to afford the payment. His payment should have been 440.00 the most he explained. When he received the payment book his payment was 600.00 dollars. All the process was fishy my dad stated. He said that the Finance personal shredded the original paper work and printed out a new one with out my dad consent. The Finance personal added all these Warranty that he never agreed on. He hurried him and fast talked him hurrying to sign the paperwork . This truly saddens me. We went back right away to see if we could find a way to remove all the warranty’s and explained to them there was no way he could afford a payment of 600.00 a month and that we didn't even understand how they even got him approved for 2013 Fusion with the Social Security check amount he receives. It was a horrible experience. They treated us so badly. They were not willing to help us at all. I feel that they fast talked my elderly father and they lied on the application to get my father approved for finance . There is NO way they should have approved him for the amount that he receives on Social Security ! NO way!!! Is this how they sale cars ? They lie and to get anyone approved and don’t care about the customers just to make money. What happen to helping and caring for your customers? My father has a Bad Heart and has had a triple bypass. He is so filled with worry. GOD willing they will be caught!!! I PRAY THAT NO ONE ELSE is HURT by the bad BUISNESS! HAIK SOUTHWAY FORD DOES !!!! DO NOT TRUST THEIR SALES PEOPLE OR FINANCE PERSONAL THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR YOUR BEST INTEREST BUT TO ONLY MAKE MONEY!!!!

Provided by YP.comwent in to buy a car. was given the terms and rates and payment information and our loan approval, signed those papers. got there at 1145 am was hopeful that it would fairly painless. an hour later, we are still sitting in the lobby with our 2 year old. we go out to look at the car in the daylight, come back in and wait some more. we are told "just a few more minutes to get the final paperwork completed". we have now been sitting for 2.5 hours. they come back, tell us that, oh, the deal cant be done, sorry. So the salesman lied to us when we first got there about the papers we were signing and about whether or not we were approved. i questioned him on that and on the lowball appraisal for my trade, and he talked over me and talked to me like i was an idiot. Finally, we told them that we had wasted 4 hours of our day and that we would like the keys to our car back so we could leave. I do not do business with salesman and companies that lie to me, disrespect me, and try to "bait and switch" and play "snake oil salesman" games...do not waste your time!
