After reading on your website that 70% of your menu is gluten free my family & I were very excited to visit the Huebner location on Mother's Day. My son & I both have Celiac Disease & have to eat gluten free. We got there & were told the wait for our family of 5 could be over 2 hours. The family all looked at me & I said "Of course we'll wait! It will be worth it!" So wait we did. When we got our text & went up to the hostess I requested a gluten free menu. She told me that they only have the regular menu but that any of the egg dishes would be fine. She said the buckwheat pancakes are made on the same griddle as the regular so stay away from those. When our waiter took our orders I explained that we needed to eat gluten free & asked for his feedback on what our best choices would be. He said everything would be contaminated & that we could eat the fruit only. I asked to speak to a manager & inquired as to whether the cooking surface could be cleaned so that he could accommodate our gluten free needs. He responded that they "couldn't shut down food production just for us." So, after waiting almost 2 hours all we got out of it was rude service & luke warm coffee. I am very disappointed as Magnolia Pancake House had come highly recommended. I ask that you please put a disclaimer on your website stating that your location cannot accommodate those with Celiac Disease.
