Tesoro is also a major producer of distillates. The company markets wholesale motor fuels to unbranded dealers. Bruce A. Smith has been the chief executive officer of Tesoro for more than 11 years. He has been with the petroleum and natural gas company for over 13 years. Smith attended Westminster College and the University of Kansas. Tesoro Corporation was established in 1968 and is headquartered in San Antonio.
