Visiting from Dallas and this place was good. Fresh hot food and do I mention good? Combination fajitas with homemade flour tortillas- yummy, and enchiladas verdes was a little tangy from the sauce but really good. It all was delicious and dessert was even better. A plate of 4 sopapillas and chocolate ganache with ice cream - wow. Definitely worth the price. Our server Alison was more than attentive. She stayed on top of every need sometimes before we had the opportunity to ask and she was conversational. She gave us some family friendly recommendations for our visit. Couple of months ago, we ate there since we in town visiting. The fajitas were so tender and delicious. The frozen margarita was out of this world... it actually had liquor...

Now, we're back in town and we're hitting this place again. We highly recommend this place.

We have been to Matamoros a few times now since we've moved to San Antonio. We have always had a great experience. First time we went was on a Saturday night for the salsa dancing. The band is great. We have since gone back for lunch and dinner and have always really enjoyed our food and service. I always get the enchilada verdes, and my husbands normally gets the steak tampiqueno. both are very tasty. And the tortillas are always fresh tasting. Would definitely recommend checking this place out

this is a wonderful restaurant. they have a live band on the weekends and it is a wonderful place to go for dinner, drinks and a wonderful time. the bartenders are very attentive as are the servers. the food is delicious and the margaritas are great!!! i love coming here for a great time!!

You may have to wait to be seated because this restaurant is so popular, but it's worth it. The food is very good, the service excellent, & the margaritas especially delicious during Happy Hour!!
