Dillard McCollum High School offers classes in the areas of English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, modern languages, fine arts, career and technology and physical education. It also offers pre-advanced placement and advanced placement classes in the core areas for students who want to take an advanced placement exam and college credit grant. The school s diversified career preparation course allows students to participate in an internship in the business community. It provides various sports programs, including football, baseball, cross country, basketball, golf, volleyball, softball, track, soccer and tennis. It has various clubs, such as key, poets society, French, Spanish and science. The students are involved in other activities, including drama, dance, choir, pep squad and journalism. Dillard McCollum High School is operated by the Harlandale Independent School District, and is located in San Antonio.
