They approved me quickly, they were super polite, and they even don't mind working with me if I'm a day or 2 late (based on when my check gets deposited). Also I love the text reminders!

My friend told me about Merit ...

My friend told me about Merit Finance. I went in not knowing what to expect as soon as I walked in thru the door I was greeted by 5 friendly women. They all greeted me with a smile & they were all very happy to help me. The application process took no longer then 15-20 mins. I felt so comfortable & the employees there really made me feel like they cared about my financial sitaution at the time. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a little help with money. The interest isnt high at all & I was given 6 months to pay back. I was even offered $20 for any customer I send their way!!!

Poor Customer Service!!

The manager needs to learn customer service and/or people skills!!!!! She told me I would qualify for $400 after she took my 2nd to the last payment on my $200 loan, she reviewed my account and said to me, live and in person, that since I have made all my payments on time I would qualify for $400, I told her that I would have to think about it and she said okay, call me or come in when your ready for that $400. I went in today, 2 weeks later, to get my $400 loan! The girl that was assisting me didn't understand the figures I gave her and went to talk to this manager I could hear thIS manager tell her that I would only be getting $300, well this didn't sit very well with me so as she was making her way out of the store I asked her why it was only $300 after she told me $400 -- She proceeded to say oh I don't remember telling you that, we have a lot of customers, but they base the loans on tiers and I would only be qualified for $300 at this time. WHAT A GOOD MANAGER WOULD HAVE SAID WAS "MY APOLOGIES, I WAS WRONG IN QUOTING YOU $400 WOULD YOU SETTLE FOR $300 THIS TIME, AGAIN, MY APOLOGIES! -- but no, she never apologized, just as she didn't apologize after she called me the day after thankgiving to remind me that my payment was due -- I told her the day isn't done yet and you were closed on Thanksgiving, (my payment due date) Instead she said, we have a drop box and I am just doing my job, your payment was due yesterday...Absolutely unbelievable!!! What a good manager, who cares about the business does, is TAKE CARE OF A GOOD CUSTOMER! PAY ATTENTION AND APOLOGIES FOR MAKING THE MISTAKES THAT SHE DOES! THEY LOST MY BUSINESS TODAY!
