I have lived here for two years and I can honestly say this is one of the worst apartments I have experienced, first everyone should know they tow cars all the time. My wife had her car towed only because the front office forgot to give her a sticker tag and when I asked for a refund they just blew me off and even denied that they forgot to give her a parking tag. My mother in law also was towed and I have heard other residents complain about this (about themselves and their guests), honestly I have even seen Bexar towing sitting in our parking lot...no doubt the office get a kick back.



Something else potential renters should know about is that there are allot of additional fees here, never in my life have I had an apartment where I paid an admin fee, pest fee, trash fee, and requires renters insurance. So when they say its xyz price it actually turns out to be more.



I will also mention I have had huge problems with roaches and a lack of interest or concern for me or my family and in fact I have had to contact there leasing management company to get anything done. The lodge took retaliatory action by simply not renewing my lease with joy, I told the manager and leasing company I would have a hard time moving because my wife was about to give birth again lack of concern or a care in the world. So anyone renting take note do not complain.



Everyone should know is the maintenance here is bellow poor, they respond most of the time in a timely manner however usually if it requires any skill that they don't possess then it simply doesn't get done. I have had a flooding problem and maintenance doesn't know how to fix it never mind calling a plumber to see what’s going on. I have had an electrical issue and the office said that maintenance didn’t know how to fix the problem so I guess I was supposed to be ok with electrical issues?



Simple décor, I have noticed also our bathtub is painted all over and it bothers me because my wife and I love baths and while we bathe the paint flakes off! There are so many areas where it is obvious that they simply just slap a coat of paint on a trouble area and expect the problem to go away like magic!



The water heater is too small for any unit here! we continually have hot water running out, I even called about it about it took three different times before they would even replace the heating elements in the water heater not to mention your washer dryer hook up is outside with the water heater this isn’t a problem but the water heater sits on a wooden support that I’ve noticed sags creating a huge space gap from your dryer hook up.



I also would like to make mention that security here is a joke, they have a gated entrance for both cars and people however they require a key card to get in so this is a huge inconvenience for you if you have a guest not to mention the gates are almost never working and once fixed they are quickly broken and that goes for all gates.
