I have been a patent of Dr. Pollacks for many years and overall have received good care from him. His staff has always been helpful in the past, no matter the problem I might have. A few months ago Dr. Pollack did foot surgery on my left foot. The surgery and follow-up seemed to have gone well, but a couple of days ago I noticed a problem with my toe. I was unable to see the doctor on the weekend, so I waited until Monday and made an appointment for 4:00pm. Great! Later that morning I receive a call from the Doctor's Office informing me that I have been dismissed from Dr, Pollack's practice and he will not see me at 4:00pm or ever. According to his office I had missed a previous appointment and that behavior was not acceptable to Dr. Pollack. I guess maximizing his profit opportunities is more important than his patients medical need. The one thing I was counting on the doctor seeing me. It's difficult to get into a doctor's office on short notice!

It seems to me that he should confirm his appointments, and if his decides to fire you as a patient, he should let you know ahead of time.

I would like to be seen by a doctor who cares more about his clients health than his bottom line! I believe Dr. Pollack has a cold, callas and indifferent attitude towards his patents! Not someone I would recommend to any person.

DR. BELLACOSA IS GREAT PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR. HIS BEDSIDE MANNER IS THAT OF A PERFECT GENTLEMAN WITH REFINED MANNERS. HIS CALM DEMEANOR HELPS PATIENTS TO BE AT EASE AND YET HIS KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR INDIVIDUAL CIRCUMSTANCE IS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION BY HIS DEVOTED TIME TO YOU AT THAT MOMENT. HE HAS AN ARRAY OF SUPPLIES THAT HE WILL RECOMMEND AND YOU CAN WALK OUT WITH AND NOT HAVE TO STOP SOMEWHERE ELSE AND BUY THEM. I MEAN YOU CAN LEAVE HIS OFFICE AND "WALK OUT ON YOUR HEALED AND PAINFREE FEET" AFTER YOUR FIRST VISIT. I JUST LOVE MY VISITS THERE, HIS FRIENDLY AND ASSISTIVE STAFF AND EVEN BETTER YET MY CONVERSATIONS WITH DR. BELLACOSA ABOUT DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO TREATMENT WITHOUT SURGERY.
