Founded in 1983, SAMMinistries is an interfaith ministry that provides shelter and care services for the homeless individuals in San Antonio. The agency provides a range of programs and services, including life skills, job training, financial management solutions and parenting classes. Its guests have access to medical and dental facilities. SAMMinistries operates three primary facilities that include Commerce Street Emergency Shelter, the Transitional Learning and Living Center and Furniture For A Cause. Its Commerce Street Emergency Shelter has more than 300 beds and offers social, medical and mental health care services.
