My washing machine was down, I called Sears, was routed to a North American Call Center, and they showed up to diagnose the problem quickly. They were Johnnie-on-the-spot. They told me that they needed to order a part and I would need to pay for it up front.

I paid them for the service call and the part for a total of $389.00. I was told that the part was readily available and that it would be shipped directly to my home and should arrive in 3 days ("Maximum time" I was told).

After the first 7 days of waiting, I called Sears and my call was routed to a Call Center in Bangalore, India. The rep in Bangalore informed me that the part was "constrained" and would not ship for one more week.

The part finally arrived 18 days after my initial call. I called Sears and was told that the repair man would be available in 3 days.

So, after 21 days of waiting, the part was installed and fixed my problem (the part went bad within 8 weeks after installation).

The next experience with Sears was the same. They lied to me every step of the way. The second repair only took 14 days to complete (couldn't get the right part for 10 days).

I wrote a letter to Sears requesting a telephone call from someone in their quality department (yes, they have a quality department). It is now 18 months later, and I still have not received a call or any other response to my numerous letters.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!! DO NOT USE SEARS HOME SERVICES!! THEY LIE, THEY MISS THEIR COMMITMENTS, AND THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS THAT YOU ARE ANGRY WITH HOW THEY TREATED YOU. USE ANYONE ELSE. THE GORILLA AT THE ZOO COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB THAN SEARS HOME SERVICES.

I love to shop at Wandering Cowboys in Rolling Oaks Mall. I went in the mall looking for early Xmas gifts and stumbled into this store. They didn't have what I was looking for, but they got it for me. Very Helpful, Very Polite. Not like the other stores we have here in San Antonio. Very Enjoyable shopping experience. THis is my new Western WEar store!
