Provided by YP.comShort and sweet: The Best.
I had them put rustic alder cabinets in my kitchen and they did a fantastic job. Kept the price reasonably low, especially considering what the competition quoted. They came to my house several times before manufacturing of my cabinets even began. I really couldn't be happier and i am a very tough customer. Trust me.

Provided by YP.comOur new home needed a kitchen and after my past experience with a semi-custom cabinet shop out of Oregon, it was worth it to me to pay for custom cabinets this time. I wanted to go local, but wasn't sure where to start. On line, I found Fine Line Carpentry, Midland Cabinets, Custom Woodworks, and Knotty Hole. All were within a stone's throw of each other, so I figured why not have them all quote my job. Each had a nice, well equipped shop and they all treated me with respect. It was obvious that Midland and Custom Woodworks had the largest investment in their manufacturing equipment and they both gave me limitless options in door and drawer styles, wood types, finishes, and hardware. But here's the cool part for you to know. Custom Woodworks was half of Midland's price. After researching Custom Woodworks, I found they had made quite a name for themselves already and it made my decision easy.
It was cake walk form there. Custom Woodworks firmed up the details with a couple visits to my house, sent me computer generated drawings a few days later, and had the entire job ready for install in less than 6 weeks. That was less time than it took the semi-custom place in Oregon and some of their cabinets arrived broken.
I took the time to write this hoping that others will learn from my experience and not waste their time and money with too many other custom cabinet shops on the Peninsula. You can just go to Custom Woodworks with the confidence that you are not only getting the best price in town, but the best quality in town, too!

Provided by YP.comWent to a lot of cabinet shops when it came time to do my kitchen and bathrooms. After visiting Home Depot and the like, I knew I wanted to find a custom shop that would take care of me, not just drop the cabinets off and run. Custom Woodworks has been at the same location, doing the same thing for over 30 years. Here's the best way for me to sum it up: Art that poses as cabinets. From the initial visit to my house to take exact specs, to letting me come into their shop to watch my cabinets come together, to coming out a couple times once the cabinets were in to adjust them to perfection. They build all their cabinets in a traditional European fashion, which means they use no screws, only glue, dowels, and a lot of time. This process makes them sturdier and more earthquake proof than those built with screws. The kicker, Custom Woodworks was almost half the price of other custom shops with lesser capabilities and a lot longer lead times. Call them if you are interested in not only getting the best cabinets in town, but the best service in town to go with them.
