It seems like Longs is a more pleasant place to shop than it's competition. The employees tend to be friendlier, and the store is usually less crowded than their competition. I prefer to shop here when I just need one or two things. However, I tend to shop at their competiton when my list is longer, because they do have much better sales on everyday items. Longs tends to have too many sales on "weird" things, like lawn furniture or fertilizer. Where at the other place I can find more sales on things that I need for the week, like toothpaste or toilet paper.
