Founded in 1982, Pencom specializes in design, engineering and manufacturing, with an innovative ability to supply low-technical components with a high-technical inventory system. The company offers precision machining, turning, milling, screw machining and stamping for prototypes and high-volume production. Its processes are used to manufacture captive screws, inserts, latches, spacers, self-clinching nuts and other mechanical hardware, including ejectors and handles. It also produces electro-mechanical components, such as switches, connectors and thermal management components, such as custom heat sinks, heat pipes and ducting. Located in San Carlos, Calif., Pencom employs more than 400 people globally and has approximately 145,000 square feet of manufacturing space at its various locations.
