I live locally and have been ordering my special occasion cakes out of town. Hate doing that, by the way, but no choice. I went into Hector's to pick up bread (which is phenominal, too) and thought to myself, "self...your husband's birthday is coming up next week." So...I ordered the chocolate, chocolate cake. A week later at the party I do the traditional candles and stuff for my hubby with our 30 guests...and the feedback from our friend MADE me try some myself. I usually don't since I'm not a sweetie person. HOWEVER...it was the best EVER! Hands down. I've had three of my friend order cakes from Hector since and his birthday was only a few weeks ago. Need I say more. Hector, you ROCK! OH...I paid less than the out of town bakery, too!

Our daughter was getting married and we didn't know where to get a wedding cake. A friend told us about a new bakery in town (San Clemente, Ca) so we tried them. I called and spoke w/Hector (the owner) and he was very helpful and said he would meet w/us at anytime convienent for us. We did just that and we picked out a wedding cake. It was beautiful and absolutely delicious. Talk about the Ace of Cakes.........Give them a try, you won't be sorry, Hector delivered the cake right on time and absolutely took the stress and worry out of that part of THE WEDDING.............. God bless you Hector and staff and we thank you from the bottom of our heart..........
