Ali Amirrezvani, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. From 1996 through 2008, Dr. Amirrezvani held academic and clinical positions at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the affiliated St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York.He was an attending physician and medical clinic preceptor (1996-2008), assistant clinical professor of Medicine (1997-2003), medical director of the University Medical Practice Associates (2000-2003), and director of Quality Improvement in the Division of General Medicine (2004-2008).In addition, he directed the physical diagnosis course (1997-2002) and the primary care clerkship (1998-2002) at the College of Physicians and Surgeons.From 1998 to 2001, he also directed the primary care clerkship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.Dr. Amirrezvani completed a residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College, St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center of New York. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Amirrezvani is board-certified in internal medicine.He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Persian.
