I was very impressed.
Realizing that not too many people write reviews praising a cremation place, but I am going to, in hopes others will have as pleasant an experience as I did. When my aunt passed, we called American Cremation due to the fact that they actually published a price sheet. The driver was very polite and sensitive to the family and friends who were gathered at her home.

A few days later I was in the office making arrangements. Again, I have to repeat there was no upselling. It was just what I wanted, and it made what could have been very unpleasent a lot easier to take.

I was very pleased to know American Cremation is local, and local is always better.

My mother recently passed away (2 weeks ago) and she still hasn’t been cremated.

Although they were quick to pick up, the service went quickly down hill from there.

Whether it was getting the forms filled out, getting payment to them, and setting up appointments was a real NEGATIVE experience.

It was especially frustrating in the fact that the time frame, losing a loved one, doesn’t need to have additional issues arise – such as the poor customer service. It was as if this was their 1st transaction and they couldn’t mention and cover the various steps necessary to complete their business. In addition, the attitude of 2 of the employees was just over the top in being rude!

So shop around and eliminate this company from your choices.
