We just returned home today after spending an amazing weekend at the Britt Scripps Inn. What a hidden (but not for long!) jewel. Where do I begin? Beautiful historic inn, excellent location, comfortable, decorative rooms, free parking, Internet & TV (if you get lonely for reality!) A truly relaxing experience. Professional and helpful staff, outstanding breakfast, our compliments to the chef! Complimentary wine and cheese in the evening. Safe area, just west of Balboa Park a very short walk. We were celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary, live in SD North County and wanted a romantic, not too far from home destination. We found a rare gem! Can't wait for our next getaway!
