Internet has gone out daily for 10+ hours, they come out and fix it, and it's fine for a few days, then goes out again. Today they fixed it again by rewiring, and now my phone (Cox) doesn't work "due to telephone facility problems." TV blanks out a a couple of channels. I am looking for another carrier. My sisters' cable does not do this at all, but they are in Chicago, so may be they are smarter at fixing stuff.

poor customer service. i needed a cable box that has a dv-r so i could record a show i needed to watch they told me it will arrive in 2 days. Came the day I was supposed to get it but did not so I called to follow up, turned out my request was not processed. And they wont give me a phone number to a cox location to check whether they have one in their location even though I offered to pick it up myself. They just said there is nothing they could do. Period. I want to change my cable company

Cox Communications's digital cable is very nice with great stations such as the NFL network. The internet is very good as well. However, the package can be pretty costly.

I have the cox combo pack tv. internet,and phone service..what they call shingles have been popping up on my t.v. for 6mons( neighbors having same problems)they are unable to fix the problem....I get an error message on my outlook express e-mail.....just want the error message to go away...talked to 3 different technicans at cox, they just talked down to me and only made problems worse, now have multiple error messages popping up...dialed 411 to get a phone number, lady from India with a accent was hard to understand..did not know where san diego was or how to spell it....technology at cox has far outpaced their ability to service it when something goes wrong..Internet technicans at cox should understand that not everyone was born into the computer age and should have patience with their customers

Switched from DIRECTV to Cox, mostly because I wanted to watch the Padres on Channel 4. They are slightly more expensive than satellite, but well worth it. The HD picture is unbelievably clear, I get all the channels I want and their customer service has been the best. Any time I've had a question, they have someone available on the phone or internet. I would DEFINITELY recommend them over and above DIRECTV.

Poor customer service, poor account service.

Cox discontinued my service due to "non-payment". They repeatedly told me that I had not paid a past-due amount - even though I provided them with payment information and confirmation from my bank as an approved transaction. Also, I provided them with their own payment confirmation number that was given at the time of the transaction. Think carefully before selecting this company as your cable/internet/phone provider.
