Provided by YPmobileI read positive and negative reviews online about Dr. D. Hoyt. But, after a personal experience I must say my experience was wonderful and great.
The staff is very professional. The office manager Hugh is very experienced and knows his stuff very well. Every time I called or made an appointment they were very kind and very helpful. Dr. Hoyt was very pleasant and very understanding and not too quick to make judgments or evaluations. She is very friendly and has a ton of experience in this field. I highly recommend Dr. Hoyt. My personal experience was fabulous.

Provided by YP.comIntrinsically Biased in favor of management – even if management is not paying her and the individual is. Nevertheless, Dr. Hoyt CAN be very likeable in time.
//I have experienced Dr. Hoyt in BOTH of the circumstances of the two prior reviewers – including seeing Dr. Hoyt for years. BOTH prior reviewers very accurately describe Dr. Hoyt’s two (apparently) contradictory sides.
//But I DIS-agree with the reviewer who recommended that an individual see Dr. Hoyt for therapy. While I was seeing Dr. Hoyt on an individual therapy basis (and paying with my insurance), I found that Dr. Hoyt was comfortable in sending me off into wild goose chases in behalf of the employer.
//For one example, Dr. Hoyt recommended that I see a lawyer who was putting together a class-action lawsuit against the US military for having eliminated soldiers for character disorders! !!! Instead, I applied to the Veteran’s Administration for service-connected disability (without Dr. Hoyt’s help) and my application was overwhelmingly successful.
//If an employer forcibly refers a worker to Dr. Hoyt for an “evaluation,” – I recommend that the individual REFUSE to take any psychological tests (i.e. MMPI, etc.) with Dr. Hoyt. Instead, take these with Dr. Richard Lavak Ph.D or Ira Grossman Ph.D. [Dr. Grossman is often called upon for a 2nd opinion to Dr. Hoyt’s evaluations, and the two rarely agree! Why ?]
//The test results can then be forwarded to any other professionals. Both Dr. Lavak and Dr. Grossman are: UN-biased, helpful and eminent; while Dr. Hoyt is none of these things.
