Elizabeth Rosenblum, MD, is a board-certified family medicine doctor. She is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals and families. Due to her extensive background in maternal-child health, Dr. Rosenblum focuses primarily on the care of pregnant women and of newborns, children and adolescents. She currently teaches a monthly class at UC San Diego for pregnant women and their families. Called Thinking Ahead to Your Babys Vaccines,' the class is a popular and widely attended seminar which addresses parents' questions regarding vaccines.As a professor with dual appointments in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine and the Department of Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Rosenblum is involved in training medical students at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She also supervises residents and fellows at UC San Diego Medical Center. She lectures widely on vaccine-related issues to both medical and lay audiences.Dr. Rosenblum completed a maternal-child health fellowship at West Suburban Hospital (affiliated with Loyola University) and a vaccine science fellowship with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Her residency training was at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She earned her medical degree at John Hopkins University School of Medicine.
