On 4/2/2013 BBB confirmed that CA Public Utilities Commission suspended the license of Green Ride Shuttle Service.

Below is my emailed confirmation for services on 4/7/13. I called at 9:32 PM and was told the service was not available and that it would be at least a 30 minute delay. I called again starting at 9:50 to confirm that we were waiting curbside at the airport and continued to call until 10:20 when we finally took a cab.



Greenride left me, my wife and 2 kids abandoned at the airport.



I've sent 3 e-mails to the company, and they have all gone unanswered.



What a terrible thing to do to a loyal customer. I'm a frequent business traveler and since discovering the service last year I had been a loyal customer and used the company's services exclusively. I had always had a good experience, with friendly drivers, clean cars and timely service. I can understand and accept a 30 minute delay. Life happens. But to not even have someone answer my calls that night or return my e-mails is appalling.



Someone at greenride clearly knew that there would be a delay before I called, because when I made my first call of the two call system I was told that 2 drivers were unavailable and that would result in a 30 minute delay.



A responsible business would have called me or sent me an email letting me know there would be a delay instead of informing me when I called in.



A good company would have scrambled to find another driver for my reservation, made other arrangements, or would have at least assisted me in making other transportation arrangements.



A great company dedicated to customer service would have found another shuttle service for me, and covered any difference in costs at their own expense, recognizing that my reservation should be honored.



But to not answer calls or return my voicemails inquiring about the status of my reservation while I'm waiting curbside for my pickup at 10PM on a Sunday night and to not respond to the emails requesting information about my pickup...that's unconscionable.



I don't know how they will stay in business, and I intend to complain broadly and loudly.
