Jeremy E. Orr, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary physician who specializes in neuromuscular respiratory weakness, chronic lung disease, non-invasive ventilation management and critical care medicine. In addition, he recently started a multidisciplinary clinic to treat patients with muscular dystrophy.Dr. Orr's research interests include control of breathing, sleep apnea, intermittent hypoxemia, and right ventricular dysfunction. He has published articles in the American Journal of Cardiology, Sleep, The Lancet Respiratory Medicine, and Annals of the American Thoracic Society.Dr. Orr completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine, and a residency in internal medicine at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Orr is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.He is a member of the California Thoracic Society, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, and American Thoracic Society.
