Based on a recommendation, I tried to do business with them but after dealing with Brenda I couldn't bring myself to do it. She was down right NASTY before they even started the work. After looking at reviews I noticed I wasn't the only one with that experience. 2 stars to be fair because I didn't use them. but customer service is a zero! Do yourself a favor, look somewhere else...

I've taken my Jeep here a couple of times, and quite frankly they do excellent work. If you had a bad run in with them, then it must be something on YOUR end. These guys can do anything, and I learned about them through word of mouth. I'll always take my soft top Jeep to them, no one else in SD knows how to deal with canvas quite like these guys do-so I highly recommend them.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Do not go here for you car needs. Please do yourself a favor never go here. Bad customer service. My wife and I were told by Brenda to get the @#$* out when we questioned the work. She did not want to deal with the issue. She was just flailing her arms saying PAY ME, PAY ME.

Did not do the work they promised. Did not call me to let me know what they were doing instead of what we arranged. We were to have the leather on my BMW seat put on another frame. They said it would fit. Never called to tell me. Just threw in the replacement seat and the seat belt doesn't even work. Now we have to remove the whole seat again to change the seat belts. Shoddy work and nasty people. Go to someone who takes pride in there work and stands behind it! I think there are still some shops out there like that.

I called around for prices for my Mustang top and the price that I was given was very good. I was able to bring my car in the next morning and it was done by lunch time. Plus it came with a warranty. They were very fast and friendly. I will tell all of my friends. GREAT JOB !!

Jim's Auto Upholstery is by far the best upholstery shop in San Diego. Everyone is friendly, prices are great and they have been around for years which says alot. My family will continue to use this shop and recommend to others.
