Kim Bond, MOT, is a registered and licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L) and also holds credentials as a certified assistive technology professional (ATP) and certified lymphedema therapist (CLT). She has expertise in treating and managing breast cancer-related lymphedema, as well as neurological conditions, including Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). She has received the Lee Silverman Voice Treatments (LSVT BIG) and Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!) certifications to help treat the unique movement impairments for those with Parkinson's disease. Mrs. Bond enjoys working with patients from all backgrounds and walks of life. Mrs. Bond also has a special focus in wheelchair seating and mobility and currently facilitates the wheelchair seating clinic at UC San Diego Health's Rehabilitation Services La Jolla and Hillcrest locations.She obtained a master's degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation from Central Michigan University. Outside of work, Mrs. Bond enjoys spending her free time exploring the beautiful San Diego coastline on her bike.
