Excellent tapas place! Flamenco shows on Fridays at 8:00pm are amazing!!

i have lived in san diego for almost a year now and never have i been this impressed by a restaurant!



the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is splendid, the sangria is tasty, and the food is divine. i felt like i was back in europe. both the executive chef and the owner stopped by our table to welcome us and ask if "we are happy" and enjoying our meal! seriously, i stepped out of la gran tapa imagining i would step onto the streets of positano or taormina, but no, i was still in san diego :)





if you are looking for something authentic, and you're craving quality la gran tapa is where it's at!
