Took my BMW in for a number of service items totalling over $1000. I had the transmission serviced and it leaked worse than before. Took it back three times, was told the seal was replaced. The third time, I was told there was a metal shard hitting the gasket causing it to leak. Why was it not removed or filed? I asked to see the old parts but they were nowhere to be found! I found a great mechanic in Mission Gorge, who showed me the items replacing and replaced in detail and said that the Lusty mechanics had used silicone to seal the gasket which would eventually break down into the fluid, damaging the transmission.



Better choices: Beemer Club (Outstanding but pricey), or A&G Auto, (also excellent, and reasonable)
