Provided by YP.comI found Matt several years ago off Google when searching for an addiction therapist in San Diego. I was really nervous about the entire thing but my parents pretty much gave me no choice, they were kicking me out unless I got help. I am not sure how other therapists work because this is the only one I have seen but he really made the process positive and overall a good experience. I was also nervous about seeing a male therapist but again Matt was great to work with. He always made me feel like he was an older brother sort of figure, never judgmental or too invasive. I still see him from time to time as it's always good to check in. Would score him 10 stars but it stopped me at 5.

Provided by YP.comI am surprised at the review posted below saying that Matt does not care, I am one of the clients he saw a few times for a reduced fee because he knew I was experiencing a difficult time in between jobs with a newborn and wanted to help me. All of the other therapists I reached out to before him told me to go fly a kite so it's kind of odd that someone would expect a therapist to just work for free. Besides that, I just wanted to say Matt has helped me immensely in all areas of my life. Getting back to work, repairing my marriage and becoming a better mother to my daughter. For anyone going through overwhelming life changes Matt is great because he really helps you sort it all out, issue by issue without making you feel like your life is a total mess... So thankful for finding him!

Provided by YP.comTherapy was a last resort for me so when choosing a therapist I needed someone who could actually convince me they can help me with the issues I am experiencing. I can honestly say I previously have been unable to connect with any other therapist besides Matt, he seems to truly understand the issues I have and offers continuous solutions that actually help me. I have sent two other of my girl friends to him, both love him just the same! 5 stars from me :)

Provided by YP.comI came to see Dr. Bruhin for some issues I was having in my life. I used my work HR program and they told he was the highest rated therapist they had
in San Diego. He was totally down to earth and understood my situation. He really helped me out and through a difficult time I was going through. He is the best!

Provided by YP.comHe acts like he cares but as soon as you do not have the thousands of dollars for the intervention his attitude totally changes. It does not matter if you have insurance and he is covered by the insurance to have counseling sessions with the person who is addicted, he wants the 1500 dollars or more for the intervention. My son died do to lack of treatment and his attitude was cold and aloof. It does not matter how many radio stations he has been on or how many tv programs he has appeared in. Nope I would not recommend him, it seemed he really just cared about the money, more than the person.
I am uncertain what indivdual wrote this comment. It has been several years since I have conducted any intervention period. To even contemplate that someone's Son has died due to anything I might have done, breaks my heart. I have never conducted any intervention to my knowledge, where the person did not receive help and is not living today. I believe this post is false and malicious. Therapists go into this profession not to make money, but to help others. I will continue to dedicate my life to helping as many as I can. I also need to make a living but this does not stop me from seeing countless people pro-bono and for reduced fee. I challenge anyone to search my practice reviews, insurance reviews and general public opinion to verify I am the type of provider that care so much about the well being of anyone I work with, meet or know personally, that finacial greed is the least of my personal motivators. I am truly saddened by this falacious post and hope that if for any reason I have offended anyone, they consider speaking with me vs. attempting to undermind a practice that saves lives daily. Provided by Doctor.comMy son had gone to at least 12 psychologists before finding Matthew and sticking with him. He is the only therapist who has ever helped our son and our family for that matter. I also believe he saved my son's life. If you are you loved on have addiction don't wait!

Provided by YPmobileAs a women I can't always say what's on my mind 2 the father of my kids or say it in the right way, Matt is amazing he will say exactly 2 the T what I'm thinking or feeling as if he were me, without me even having 2 say 1 word. He looks very young but is wise beyond he's years. We have only been going a while now but I feel he's help so much already....truly good @ what he does.
