Provided by YP.comI recently took my family here for a vacation and didn't realize until just before we arrived that I went here as kid myself when it was called Vacation Village. It has been upgraded (thankfully) but could use a little polish. But the set up is perfect for families. The pool has a long walk-in section for little ones and the bungalow style rooms let you put the kids down then sit on the patio, looking at the bay while having a drink. It is one of the few places that allows for bonfires on the beach at night. The smores taste good here. Close to Sea World and other SD attractions. Onsite restaurants make it all easy.

Provided by YP.comOne of my favorite places to stay in San Diego. The primo rooms here are the bunagalows (complete with living room and kitchenette) that open right onto the bay (with your own expanse of grass and sandy beach!) There are fire pits for roasting marshmallows in the evening, and five pools on the property. With two restaurants (one fancy/one slightly more casual) and a pizza place on site, you really don't need to leave the resort, but you are just down the road from Sea World if you feel the need to.

Provided by YP.comReally lovely property just down the street from Sea World. It is like a hawaiian paradise on it's own island! Has multiple pools, tennis courts, beautiful beach with fire pits, gorgeous rooms, lush grounds, event rooms, restaurant, watercraft and bicycle rentals. It really is a great get away! We have stayed here at least 7 times over the past 10 years!
