This was my go to pho restaurant. The beef and broth were great. Sometimes, I'd change it up and get grilled chicken with rice -- it'd always hit the spot.

But now I'm dating a Vietnamese lady, and she thinks this place isn't good.

So we don't go here anymore.

But I still do. By myself.

The pho and service here are great! When we arrived, we were seated immediately and ordered our food right away. Within 5 minutes our spring rolls arrived and pho soon followed. All and all a good experience.

They use too serve way more beef and noodles, now not so much. It's like they fill you up on broth.

This place has great fresh vietnamese food for prices you would expect in the 90's. The fresh springs rolls were supersized and the entrees which were so large we couldn't finish them were less than $7. Service was superfast! There was no fluke here. This place will become a family favorite

Love the food, so YUMMY!. Any place where they are constantly packed must be good. Every single day it's packed. I can smell the delicious food when arriving at their front door. Their pho is definitely flavorful. Try it!

I am vietnamese myself, I can assure you that it's the best place in San Diego to eat pho. I have came here so many times, and every time, it is great. A very consistent place, that's why I am a regular.Their smoothies are also to die for.

The prices for the food are very reasonable, great atmosphere, and great service. Inside the restaurant is very roomy and well decorated which makes your experience there fun and relaxing. I have eaten there several times now and I love it and will keep coming back. Great for the whole family and enjoyable for everyone.

Warm welcome and glass of water are what I always get at this place even before I place my order. It's hard to find this kind of service in other oriental places. I want to give them thumbs up for that. I like their grill lemon grass beef rice dish, but their noodle soup is also very flavorful. It's a good place to spend the money. Very affordable!

Very "ngon" (delicious in Vietnamese). I learned this word from the waiter who served me at ca dao. Very friendly guy, and the food was great. Thanks!

Hey, Yellowpages.com is Number One! Whatever I need, it's all here. I'm from Orange County, the melting pot of all Vietnamese dishes, so I know what a good Pho really tastes like. I'm telling you "pho ca dao" is a cool place to hang out, nice clean place, their pho is awesome. I especially like their springrolls and peanut sauce =:) Great job pho ca dao!

If you want a Real bow of Pho, this is the place. My wife is Vietnamese, she had taken me many pho places in San Diego, but last year when I visited Pho Ca Dao, I was hooked, and I'm still going there ever since.
