I contacted Pro Camera Repair regarding the IR conversion of an Olympus EPL-2 earlier this year; they said they could do it. A student living in Australia, I saved up, purchased an EPL-2 in the USA and got the camera sent directly to their facility in San Diego. They received the camera in early April and said the conversion would take a fortnight. By July, Pro Camera Repair had contacted me stating that they were 'unable to perform the conversion'. Disappointed it had taken this long, but glad my new camera was still in one piece, I requested for it sent to me. They said they would reassemble and have it in the mail one week later. Fast forward to October and many international phone calls later, and the EPL-2 is apparently still awaiting assembly. I'm starting to think that it was broken during conversion and they are leading me on until I give up. Or maybe they are just terribly disorganised and have no consideration for others time, money and possessions.
