Provided by YP.comI went in to have an engagement ring created. The owner promised me a specific color, clarity, and carat amount for the diamond. He promised that if i didn't like it I could return it for a full refund. He lied! He made the ring of a lesser clarity, color, and even number of carats. When I said I didn't want the ring, he would not refund $500 of my deposit. This is a scam. Not only did it screw up my engagement, but now I have to take them to court to try to get my money back.
This man came in the store for a ring. He gave us a budget to work with. We shoed him a few different diamonds of various specifications that were in his price range. After he selected one, we set it for him. Initially, he seemed happy. I still don't know why he wanted to return it. I explained to him our return policy and it was also stated on the sales receipt he signed and the invoice we gave him. I tried to work with him but he insisted on his money back. As a family business we are honest with our patrons, making them feel relaxed and pressure free. It's a shame this gentleman reacted this way and refused to work things out.
