This barber shop has style; very few hold that old fashion- feel to it. The owner's name is Manuel G. Villalta from El Salvador, he has been working as a barber for the last forty years; fourteen of those years he has worked for Serra Mesa Barber Shop until three years ago he decided to buy it - needless to say cutting hair is in his blood. Manuel honors the men and woman that serve our country by giving them a discount off their haircuts. Through generations fathers (many military) have been bringing their sons here, and passing the tradition down. The shop itself is very inviting by the unique décor of the past clients that leave a piece of themselves behind - and I don't just mean their beautiful waving locks, but their gratitude and friendship.
