Seymour Myers, MD, is an experienced family medicine physician providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. He is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.As a primary care physician, Dr. Myers provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for people of all ages. He earned his medical degree at the University of Toronto, and completed his residency training at New Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Myers is actively engaged in the San Diego County Medical Society, the California Medical Association, and the La Jolla Academy of Medicine, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Before joining Perlman Clinic, Dr. Myers was the medical director of Solana Beach Family Medicine, a clinic he was a part of for over 30 years. He has participated in numerous clinical research studies. In addition, Dr. Myers has served as a medical examiner for Canadian Immigration Health Services, Australian Immigration Health Services, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
