I can't say enough about my experience with SDREI and Kurt Wannebo as they made, what seemed nearly impossible at the time, happen.



Unfortunately, I found myself in the position of many Americans where I owned a beautiful home in an ugly market. After buying near the peak of the market and owning for 3 years, I was at a point that I knew I needed to sell before values plummeted any further. I worked with another agent prior to Kurt and was instrumental in my own demise by letting him list the property at a price that was just too high for market conditions. Once the value fell below what I owed on the property, I knew I was really in trouble and needed to do something fast. The problem is that fast is not a word that came close to describing any short-sale process that was just starting to become prevalent in real estate in 2008. What I needed was someone that knew how the process worked and how to negotiate with the lenders to establish a price that everyone could work with.



Let me tell you this... With the right expectations set and the right relationships and expertise in place... My head literally spun at how quickly my home was sold. I remember having Kurt lay the ground-work with my lenders first to determine how the property would need to be marketed. Once that was established, he produced three offers in just a few days. Kurt Wannebo helped us get started on the right path and then he handed us over to the very capable Mike Hinmon. Mike was incredibly patient with us and took us to house after house while we looked for a perfect fit. After months of looking, we finally found the perfect home for us. Mike was also very responsive to our endless emails and phone calls while we navigated through this process. We would definitely recommend SDREI to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.

Kurt and his team (Becky and Nicole) did a tremendous job on our start to sale. They were extremely thorough and hands on with everything for us. The process went very smoothly and they always had a backup plan. I can't comment enough about how professional and dedicated they were to helping us with the sale including dealing with the bank and the other realtors involve. They also have our documents on digital form and quickly provided everything that was needed to me and to the banks as well as escrow. If you have a short sale in Southern California is the only place to go.
