The new name is So-Cal State Fire Protection. Golden State Fire has partnered up and they're better than ever. What a difference a year makes!

The guy that came to service our extinguishers was extremely helpful. The bill was much lower than I expected. Saved a handful of money since I switched to these guys. Highly recommend.

My husband had just retired and we planned to finally sail around North America on our boat. We live in Boca Raton, FL and had made it through the Panama Canal and the Baja Coast of Mexico, headed to our daughter in San Francisco. We thought we were in the clear when our engine overheated and caught fire. We had to use our marine extinguisher. Unfortunately, the ABC Dry Chemical extinguisher (bare minimum required by the Coast Guard) was all we had, the chemical powder almost RUINED OUR ENGINE!!!!!!! The boat had to be tugged the Coronado Island Marina. While waiting for countless repairs on the engine, my husband asked the marine mechanics what they reccomended to avoid this problem from happening again, they said "avid boating enthusiasts carry HALON or HALOTRON chemical extinguishers as they don't choke the engine and are easier to clean up"



They reccomended a company that frequents the Marine Expo shows in the area, Golden State Fire. They were able to find a variety of used halon extinguishers and marine brackets to fit our boat within the hour. Although he was blue in the face from the cost of the boat repairs, my hubby was happy to save a little money and have our boat properly outfitted for any engine fire. We also purchased a number of other safety product things from their website.



The customer service gal I spoke with was a doll and made great reccomendations to us for keeping our boat safe and secure. If you ever need advice and reasonably priced fire and safety supply products in Southern California, they are surely the folks to call.

Got a ticket from the State Fire Marshal office in the mail. I was just promoted to Office Manager at my company and had no idea I even had to have my extinguishers serviced every year. I called FireHawk and some other company for a quote. They both told me I was looking at paying a few hundred dollars and couldn't get an appointment for a couple weeks. After finding out your fines increase over time, I called Golden State. They came the SAME DAY, and did the job for HALF the PRICE of the other guys. I really couldn't thank them enough, they literally saved my job! Not to mention, saved my company from a big fat fine.
