Amazing, awesome, the most fun my daughter and I have ever had. This was not only the best part of our vacation, but we had so much fun, our friends and my husband want to try it next time we get to CA. My family is wanting to move to CA now so we can continue to surf.

Our instructor was sooooo patient, really fun, and helped us alot. He was the best! I cannot wait to get back and take some more lessons!

Lessons include use of a surfboard, wetsuit and 1.5 hours of surf instruction. After the lesson, students may practice what they learned for another hour. Surfari is run by surfers who have backgrounds as lifeguards. Fun is the goal, but safety is the top concern! Surfari is located inside a surf shop with bathrooms, changerooms, lockers and a place to rinse off after the lesson. In my opinion, Surfari is the best surf school in town! Why? Because the know how to take care of their customers. The whole experience was simple and easy. We parked at the Santa Clara public lot two blocks away from their store. Then we walked to their shop and signed up for the best surf lesson ever. I felt very comfortable with Surfari because they made me feel at home. My valuables were safe and secure in their lockers and I had a place to change in the restroom. The instructors were freindly and patient. The lesson included use of a surfboard, wetsuit and 1.5 hours of surf instruction. After the lesson, we were able to practice on our own for another hour. The best part is their store is only 50 yards from the beach so after the lesson, we were able to rinse off with the hose behind their shop. Davo was our instructor and he was down to earth friendly and helpful. The techniques he taught us worked wonders as I was surfing on my own by the end of the lesson.
