I could not have been happier. Kirk really knows his business, and considering the amount of film I brought in, the price was fair. I've already researched the cost of trying to convert it at home, buying the ( home user level film conversion ) equipment, how long it would take to do it on your own, etc. No wonder I've put this off for years. Even if I did it that way, it wouldn't compare the higher quality equipment Kirk uses, nor would I have his lifetime of knowledge in the field, color-correction, etc.

If anyone's on the fence about getting your old film converted, just bring it here. You're never going to get around to it, and it takes an expert to fix the little issues that come up along the way. I'm watching some of the video now as I write this and I'm super impressed. All of this could have been lost if I did it myself or sent it to some mail-order place in another state, etc. I'm not going to invade my mother's privacy by posting a pic of the look on her face here, but you should see it. What a testimonial. Footage she hasn't seen since the 1950's. Unreal.

I took in 12 16mm films my grandfather shot in the 1940’s to be converted to DVD. The quality was excellent and they were done in a very timely manner.

Kirk was able to scan in some very old 8mm movie film from the 40s and 50s. Some of the film was ruined, but he was able to restore some precious memories.
