I went on several consultations with some of the best orthodontics in the North County area and was very impressed with Dr. Merz at Torrey Pines Orthodontics and selected her. I am 56 and have been grinding my teeth and have shifting lower teeth that look very crowded. Dr. Merz spent a great amount of time with me in the consultation to explain the various treatment options and my particular case. She is a perfectionist. I felt very confident in her ability to get me the best result with the functional aspect of my bite and the look I was seeking with my teeth/smile. Her office is also gorgeous, calming, very clean and high tech. Jamie her assistant is very sweet and professional.I would highly recommend Dr. Merz. Her fees were competitive. She has a more boutique style of orthodontic care. She appears to have many adult patients and from what I observed very good with the teens and kids. Tasha H
