UCP was founded in 1993 by brothers John and Joe Grasela after moving from Detroit, Michigan to San Diego, California. From the beginning UCP has been a nation-wide leader in prescription compounding and physician education. John and Joe have actively participated in providing continuing medical education to an estimated 50,000 physicians in the area of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). UCP was founded on the idea that patients deserve personalized medicine when common commercial medications aren't adequate. Compounding allows for the customization of special formulas to treat the unique needs of patients. In the last 25 years, compounding pharmacists at UCP have worked with physicians in the areas of hormone therapy, urology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and holistic medicine.

my doctor uses this pharmacy and Among the problems with this pharmacy are:

1.) Every time I picked up my mothers medication it was inconsistent in smell and texture.
2.) I also found the product not to be clean.
3.) I've since Googled "University compounding pharmacy San Diego" and was shocked to see multiple violations made by the California board of pharmacy alleging false advertising, inaccurate expiration dates on products, non-sterile conditions and more.

This has been a horrible experience by an obviously shady company

My pharmacy of choice..

I have been using UCP for all my prescriptions for almost 7 years. Since day one when I transferred my prescriptions here, the customer service has always had a good professional attitude, and they seem eager to help. They have great shipment options, and they send me my prescriptions before they're out! This pharmacy is prompt and precise. They have earned a customer for life.
