I have not had a great donut since I left California in 1993. Oh how I long for a winchell's donut. My favorite is a glazed donut. Winchell's donuts is the best. I live in Georgia and they think krispy creme is the best. I beg to differ.Give me a winchell's any time. My dad owned a carpet shop in El Cajon. I used to walk across the street to get donuts and never got tired of them. The one on main and magnolia. Wow! what donuts they had! And those raisin squares. Oh my gosh! I better stop cause I can't just run out and get me one.
