I love the Yard House! I've been a fan of this down to earth bar chain for years. It's a Southern California classic. They always have pretty much any kind of beer you could want, as well as a anything else. I've recently become a fan of ciders. The food is actually pretty good, even for a bar. Burgers are great, and the chicken strips with french fries are an old favorite. I usually take friends here for a calmer nite out or for pre-flight.

My husband ordered the New York Steak and was very disappointed. He ordered it well done, and the steak came burned on the outside and pink on the inside. My food (the angel hair pasta) was great. My main complaint is about the service. My friend and I asked for water 3 different times (3 different people) and I finally sent my husband to the bar to get his beer and our water. I had to go to the front desk to get my own silverware after being repeatedly ignored by the waitstaff. One waitress was extremely rude, but did not have a nametag on. I will not visit this location again as I expect great service and excellent food for the price we paid, and we got neither.
