Provided by YP.comThis review is about the indoor soccer portion of the YMCA.
Unfortunately, this is just another example of an organization that does care about how its customers are treated because there are a limited number of options. They are happy to take your money but do not wish to provide adequate services.
They cannot be bothered to keep, update, and provide schedules to their paying customers. They can barely make these available to the coaches and are not available to the rest of the players without going through the team captain. What a great to keep your customers informed....
Their worst issue is the quality of the reffing, or really just ref as its almost always one individual. It is another case of a power-trip. Lack of training and care is evident. Unfortunately, he doesn't spend his efforts in trying to actual make appropriate calls and instead seems to be day dreaming during the game or at least that's the only thing I can think of for how someone cannot care about missing calls one, two, three, four and so forth, heavily siding with one team, ignoring repeat offenders as they escalate is dangerous challenges. This is supposed to be a rec league, however, this refs lack of understanding of control of the game causes significant worries about possible serious injury. If you decide to challenge him on his bias he completely retaliates against you and your team, putting you further in harms way.
A ref with this much power and disregard for the rules and why they exist cannot be tolerated. As this organization will not listen to its customers I will have to look for another more quality league and I recommend you do the same.
