Provided by YP.comSo-cal speed shops sells a complete rear suspension setups for Hot Rods. I bought a 55" buggy spring rear spring suspension set up. When i first got the suspension. It came in 5 boxes. All damaged. Opened boxes to inspect order. Found that 9 inch ford housing was missing 5 studs that hold the third member in. Only found 1 loose in box. Also dog bones were missing that hold spring to cross member were missing. I called so-cal and they sent missing parts. Next was assembly. First off only one bearing race actually fit the housing how it should snug. The other race fell in loose and fell right out. I called so-cal again. And told them the issue i had with the bearings and and i was pretty much told well sorry to hear that. Good luck finding a new bearing that fits the housing. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. Next I had to install the axles. But the axles did not have a hole machined in them for me to tighten up the bearing retaining plates. Once again i called so-cal and they said maybe try a machine shop to have axles fixed. I just spent over $2000 on a rear suspension set up. Then i had to pay to have axles machined! Then i tried installing ladder bars and, the clevis's hit the brackets welded onto the housing. Brackets were not machined enough. After modifying clevis. I found out that the ladder bars were different lengths and did not fit the cross member at all! I DO NOT recommend buying from so-cal Speed shop at all! They do not help you out with any issues you have with an order. The quality of parts and detail to work is very poor. Customer service down right SUCKS! They do not take any returns.
