I just wanted to give you some feedback on our experience so far with the Barbizon acting classes. I came to you a bit skeptical about whether Barbizon's offering was worth the premium you charge, but you convinced me of the professionalism and the industry exposure that my daughter would receive through your training. You are right - it's worth it. Claire is taking classes with the American Conservatory Theater and she is actively involved in community theater productions as well. These give her a solid grounding in acting technique, and some excellent live stage experience. However, Barbizon has differentiated itself from the other theater experiences by giving Claire some valuable instruction about the business side of acting, as well as the different requirements of video and film (vs. stage). Barbizon inculcates the kind of professional comportment and discipline required to be serious in this industry. Claire's teacher Courtney has given the kids some excellent instruction and motivation. I've watched Claire really apply herself, stay on top of her class assignments and put out some good work, which will all help her upcoming auditions for arts high schools. Bottom line is that she really loves here Barbizon class.
