and these people really know their stuff. this is the kind of specialty shop you pray never goes away. my husband got a bug about straightrazors, decided he had to shave with them for superior smoothness [note: it's no different, but he DOES look cooler shaving]. so i bought some gorgeous antiques and took them to this place to have them sharpened. not only did they admire my new wares, they knew everything about the steel, did the job for a reasonable price, and had all kinds of fine quality goodies to go with 'em, some affordable, some not so much. now my hubbie's old razors are done for and he needs a new one, so i'll be revisiting these experts in cutting metal...

You can shave with these after you get them back. You better know how to safely use your knives cause if you don't you may cut yourself. Best knife sharpener anywhere. Chefs from all over the Bay Area trust them with their tools of the trade. I know I do and have never been disappointed.
