We are a sister company of A. Maciel Printing, which has been in business for 25 years. GreenPostcards.com is our newest venture, taking off in 2007. It draws from our experience in the printing industry and offers our customers a new way of purchasing green postcards, green business cards and oversized green postcards, bookmarks, and posters at an exceptional value, while maintaining the highest level of environmentally-responsible printing practices in the industry. In addition to being green, we're also proud to be a union shop. We're committed to running a sustainable business for the community as well as the environment, so unionizing was a must for us. All labor in the pre-press, printing, and post-press process is union labor ( Allied Trades and Printing Council, Local 401 ). We don't just claim to be green ; we back it up by utilizing the most environmentally friendly available in all aspects of our business. When you print with us, you can be sure you are getting a product that actually IS green, not one pretending to be. We print all of our products on New Leaf Paper's Reincarnation Matte stock, which is 100% recycled, 60% PCW, chlorine free, and ancient forest-friendly.
