Lina Yew still remembers her first taste of duck confit. Just moved to Paris, first night out, and stumbled onto a little bistro just two doors from home. She took the recommendation and ordered the Confit de Canard. Her first bite into the luscious duck leg, she thought to herself, this is the best thing ever. A love affaire for French bistro faire started there. Mathilde French Bistro is a partnership of Lina Yew and her husband Thierry Clement, also chef owner of L'ardoise French bistro. Excellent Lamb for Lunch

Very nice service along with a medium portion of very tender lamb, perfectly cooked veggies, and rich, delicious sauces to compliment the lamb made this meal one of the finest lunches in the city. The price was not cheap, but fair at $25.
