Moorish Architectural Design is an unwatchable resource for the Bay Area. There is something about tile made by hand, by talented artisans, that cannot be duplicated by manufactured tile. I looked at so many tile showrooms when I was remodeling and nothing compared to Moorish Architectural Design's offerings. The slight variations of surface and color/ glaze create a timeless look that is both warm and cool, connected to the earth and to artisans who create this tile. Once I saw the Moorish Tiles that Moorish Architectural design make, I was obsessed; nothing else would do. Fortunately, the prices were extremely reasonable, given the service, quality and ability to customize colors. Great tile is one of the best investments when remodeling, because it lasts, doesn't show wear and looks great forever. It's perfect.
