Provided by YP.comI personally happened to observe a very impolite and awkward interaction between a customer and a cashier at this market.
The customer was just making light, innocuous conversation that really made the cashier UPSET FOR NO REASON.
Left a bad taste in my mouth.
NOT SURE if I'm going back to this market.

Provided by YP.comWhat kind of a cashier would get mad and yell at a customer when a customer asks if "these tomatoes are fine, right?"
A VERY RUDE and CRUDE woman working at this place.
In light of the salmonella scare in the news recently, I lightly said as I was paying for my goods, "these tomatoes are fine, right?" To which this woman yelled, "DO YOU THINK WE SELL THEM IF THEY ARE BAD!?
Well, she really took it personally instead of just saying yes, she instead spewed venom into my face.
When I said that I was just making sure, she said, "DON'T BUY THEM THEN!"
Ok, customer lost. And at least twenty more people who have noticed the same rude and crude behavior of this woman in the past. (We happened to discuss this type or service informally before a neighborhood meeting started.)
THANK YOU, PARKSIDE FARMERS MARKET. You may have good produce BUT the customer service skills of this particular woman, who behaves like she is the owner or the owner's daughter, just made you lose at least TWENTY (20) customers who don't appreciate substandard service. We can go somewhere else.
