The serene traditional dining room has 20 seats and is helmed by Chef Tomonori Nagai, whose specialty is Edomae-style sushi. Nagai started his career as a sushi chef in Japan in the 1990s, after graduating from the Musashino Culinary School in Tokyo. He worked as a sushi chef at Sushiden in Japan and its New York City outpost. One of his proudest moments was serving Pres. Barack Obama while working as sushi chef at Morimoto, Hawaii.
